The Argmaur Foundation Fellowship Program:
Empowering Young Minds to be the Business Leaders of Tomorrow
Our fellowship program intends to accomplish two main goals: provide a financial education for inner city youth and to financially assist their future endeavors.
America's youth are waking up to the grim reality that our society has changed drastically and requires a new way of thinking. No longer can future generations rely upon a strong dollar, job stability, corporate pensions, and social security. Instead, inflation is rampant, high-paying jobs are shipped overseas, and social security is not guaranteed. Two successful entrepreneurs, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki sought to change the way our youth thinks about money in their collaborative book entitled,
Why We Want You to be Rich. In it they strongly convey the need for a solid financial education in order to survive a changing world, and we couldn't agree more.
If we truly care about the future of America, our children, and future generations, then we should take immediate action to ensure that the youth receive all the information and tools possible to instill with them the values of success, business leadership, and financial prosperity.
The Argmaur Fellowship promises to benefit America's inner city youth who lack
the financial education to guarantee their well being. We intend to go a step further and provide a haven where interested inner city youth can learn valuable business skills, the principles of success, and how to create wealth in today's fast-paced world.
Our plan includes launching a non-profit foundation in January 2010 to accomplish the following specific goals:
- Establish a tax-exempt foundation (to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions)
- Provide a library (in Washington, DC) with valuable resources written by some of the world's most successful and wealthy individuals.
- Furnish a media center to give students access to the internet, useful software, printers, etc.
- Launch a mentoring program that would pair students with local business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs.
- Organize a selection committee to seek prospective program participants.
- Establish a funding source for scholarships for undergraduate studies in business and/or grants for launching new business plans.
